Home Away From Home!
I was born in Wyoming, live in
Wyoming, I will always love Wyoming, and I enjoy the photographic
opportunities found in my home state but for some unexplainable
reason, I am the most at comfortable, most relaxed and most creative
in the canyons and red rock of southern Utah. I always appreciate
the challenge of a photographic adventure in this beautiful area
and a fall trip is the best there is. The golden cottonwood and
aspen trees against the red rock and unbelievably blue sky could
make the most dedicated black and white photograph turn to color
photography!
Most of my photography continues
to be created on Black and White film- mostly 8x10 format. At
the end of this gallery there are a few color digital images created
on the last adventure to Utah. While creating these images was
interesting and challenging, the large format Black and White
work continues to be my favorite.
